I should have took pictures of the lake slowly freezing over. It's looks amazing. It started about three days ago, slowly icing over. Every time I look out the window today it seems to progress even more. I love living here because of the view of the lake right outside my window. I'll try and get some pictures up soon. I hope it melts, and freezes over again. If it does I will take pictures, and make a slide show video of it.
On a side note, one of my cats spilled a whole cup of milk on the floor today. We have carpet. Yay me.

How I spent my New year's
My boyfriend and I went to his sister's on New Year's eve. First we picked up his younger sister, and her best friend. Then made our way to Pittsburgh. It was nice to catch up with her on the ride there. We don't get to talk to her much. Our tail lights acted up, and went out on the car again. For some reason the fuse keeps needing readjusted. It's an old car, and I'm just thankful to have a car.
Once we got to his sisters, and her boyfriend's we started playing games. We played taboo, cranium, scattergories, and rock band. She made home made pizza, buffalo chicken dip, chili dip, pico de gallo, and put a lot out to munch on. So there was a lot of eating going on. She had tons of choices to drink from. I had a cherry rum, and coke. It was really good. When we watched the ball drop we had noise makers, and 2 types of party poppers. So we made a huge mess, and tons of noise. It was really fun though, and we did help clean it up.
The next day I got to try something new. We had pulled pork carnitas filled with lime and cilantro rice, beans, cheese, and sour cream. The carnitas were very good, and seemed easy to make. You just have to be patient, the pork sat in the crock pot for at least 36 hours. My boyfriend and his family cook a lot of different Mexican foods. They grew up in California so they want authentic Mexican foods, like they remember growing up. After we ate it was sadly time to leave.
On the way home we stopped at Sheetz for coffee. I love the Chai they have in their cappuccino machine. But, I didn't know it was free until 4pm on new year's. Not much is better than free in my book...

Happy New Year!
It feels so weird that's it's already a new year. This year has flown by so fast. I'm excited to try new things, get in shape, and make my life better. I have a lot of goals for 2010. I think it's better to have more goals, and get as many done as possible. I want to blog, vlog, or journal everyday for the year. When I was younger I hated, and fought change. I love change, new people, and new surroundings.
Some of my goals:
- To above all things, maintain a healthy, and happy home.
- Make steps towards a healthier lifestyle. I know it's not going to happen overnight. I want to eat healthier, and exercise regularly.
- Stockpile more items, hit the sales earlier, and always get rain checks for sales.
- To have less stress, and continue approaching situations differently. I am worrying less than I have ever in my life, and I want to continue this.
- Pay off a set amount of debt per month, and put more into savings.
