Old Navy had an amazing sale this past weekend, and I scored these pants. No you didn't misread the title. These pants were $3, actually $2.87 if you want to get specific. I don't own any black pants, and I have wanted a pair of skinny ones for a long long time. Nice black pants are very hard to find at my thrift store, and I haven't had luck finding any.
I really love the piano, and guitar screen print on the tank. I've had it for 6 or 7 years now. I bought it in a store called Gadzooks. It was a sister store of Forever 21. I think they all are out of business now. When I was in high school I thought it was the coolest store in the world. Then it just up, and closed on me.
With all my heart,
<3 Vanessa
Jacket- Hollister. Top- Gadzooks. Pants- Old Navy. Shoes- Go Maxx. Bracelet- Thrifted. Necklace- Steve and Barry's. Earrings- Thrifted.
Want to hear the most ridiculous thing ever? I had a hard time styling these pants. It felt like I had nothing to wear with them. Yet, I could wear everything with them. Don't make fun of me. I'm a lost cause.I really love the piano, and guitar screen print on the tank. I've had it for 6 or 7 years now. I bought it in a store called Gadzooks. It was a sister store of Forever 21. Um. Love. And I'm going to start going shopping with YOU. I need those pants, TOO! I have a really hard time styling things that go with too much, as well. I like when things go with a hand full of other things, not a whole closet full of other things! It gets to be confusing that way!
ReplyDeleteSeriously, nothing beats $3 black skinnies. And your jacket? Love! :)
ReplyDelete3$ wow!
ReplyDeletegreat!
I wish I lived near you so we could find these amazing deals together- what a steal! I love how you styled these skinnies- I think this is one of my fave looks on you- very rocker babe!
ReplyDeleteYou are the queen of thrifts/sales, and I definitely think you did the skinnies justice with that rock t-shirt + bracelet, and that little denim jacket.
ReplyDeleteThose pants are such a great find! :)
ReplyDelete2.87 for black skinnies? you are incredible. love the way you styled them!

oh my gosh I remember Gadzooks! I hadn't thought of that place in forever, but I used to love it.
ReplyDeleteTime to ditch that jacket... or dye it a darker wash. Looks too dated.
ReplyDeletei think my black skinnies are all i wear, i have to remember to wear other things sometimes!
ReplyDeleteI am so jealous! I also went to Old Navy this weekend looking for some new jeans (especially black skinnies) and none of them fit me! :( I did still get a white pair and a couple sweaters, which were all great, but it definitely disappointed me. Ha! Anyway, love the blog! :)

I love this outfit, you did a great job styling them!! That tank is fun, and I love your yellow flats.
ReplyDeleteI love it the way it is. But, thanks anyways.
ReplyDeleteWe need to become shopping BFFs!!! I still want to find a pair of black skinnies! But they are slightly behind summer dresses on my shopping list :)
ReplyDeletelove the jacket x
ReplyDeleteFor some reason the deals just come to me. I get really lucky.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteI wish I did too. Shopping with you would be awesome.
ReplyDeleteI wish it would have never closed. It was like all the best stuff from Forever 21.
ReplyDeleteI went looking for jeans too, and there were only a few pairs. That sale was killer.
ReplyDeleteAH, Gadzooks! I loved that store, I always bought my bathing suits from them and was a lost puppy when they closed! Love those cute flats :)
ReplyDeleteWow! Wish I got to check out that sale- ammmmazzinnng buy!! Love your blog!
ReplyDeleteIf you liked them, then you will like Forever 21. Forever 21 produced their clothing, and Gadzooks was one of their smaller stores.
ReplyDeleteThank you! I think it may still be going on, it's worth popping into your Old Navy, or calling them to find out.
ReplyDelete$3 dollar pants?! I mean NOT EVEN $3 dollar pants! Gawsh you're good. Funny, I also got my first pair of black skinnies this year and have not really worn them. I don't know what it is either, lol.
ReplyDeletethe zippers on the pants are good.
ReplyDeleteI totally love this outfit!! :)
ReplyDelete'specially the jacket and the flats. So neat!!
Yeah, but I know what you mean. Sometimes the easiest clothes are to style the hardest! Same here.
But: you did a great job. :)
