Outfit of the day #16. I think I have a new favorite shirt.

Yesterday we went to one our favorite places to eat Qdoba. By we I mean the boy, and I. We eat there a lot because of their rewards program, and the food is good. On Sundays you get "triple" points for eating there. So every other time we go in we get a free entree with our points. I'm not affiliated with Qdoba or anything. But, if they want to shower me with free burritos, and pick twos I wouldn't hate it. If you want to get in on the rewards program click here. You get a free regular drink, or chips and salsa for signing up.
Outfit Details: Top- Style & Co. Thrifted. Jeans- Old Navy. Thrifted. Boots- Airwalk. Payless. Black Pearls- HSN. Gift.

I have a feeling I am going to be wearing this shirt a lot. I really like the cut, and print. I got it thrifting, and I'm glad I spent the $4.99. Every time I see Style & Co. at the thrift store I buy it. I always ended wearing the heck out of it.

With all my heart,
<3 Vanessa

P.S.
It was SO sunny out when we took these pictures. It was practically blinding me.

Outfit of the day #15. What I lack in outfit I make up in big gaudy necklace.

I know it's just a t-shirt, but I love this brown shirt. It fits really well, and super comfy. I like it because it's not too schumply, and looks dressier than an actual t-shirt. It's one of the gems my grandmother gave to me. I know every so often I say something is from her, she gives me birthday, and Christmas presents. I'm not a spoiled grandchild, I'm 1 of around 40 grandchildren. Including great grandchildren there are around 80 in all. She loves me most, I know it. Psh.

We were super lazy yesterday. All we really did was go to Waffle House for breakfast, but it was so good. I didn't feel like putting on make-up, or dressing up. So I thought slap on a big necklace, and your golden. I must really like you guys to stand in my yard in a foot of snow.
Outfit Details: Coat- Jones New York. Hand me down. Top- Steve & Barrys. Jeans- Old Navy. Scarf- Old Navy.  Necklace- HSN. Gift.

I had to show you guys the picture where you can see my breath. I like that it looks like I have a ghost coming right for me.

Outfit of the day #14. Do you like my sweater?

I have owned this sweater forever, and it's really hard to style. I decided to face it head on, because I wanted to wear it so badly. It needs a belt, jacket, vest, or something. The cut of this isn't amazing for my shape. I liked the outfit, until I saw pictures. I was having a "I feel fat day". But, I'm not going to give up on it quite yet.

In other news, it seems like mother earth has decided to pour buckets of snow upon the U.S. My foot prints from yesterday were completely gone, and it's still snowing away outside. When I came inside from these pictures my boots had so much snow stuck to them, I could barely walk.

Outfit Details: Sweater- Delias. Pants- Steve & Barry's. Boots- Icings. Gift. Pashmina- Dots. Earrings- Street Vendor in Pittsburgh.

Christian Dior Spring 2011 Couture. Minimalism, eat your heart out.

I've been trying not to cover every single fashion show, because if you wanted that you would just go to Style.com. This year Christian Dior was my favorite Spring 2011 Couture show. In a few words I would describe it as bold modern day pin up girl. I'm seriously considering selling off everything I own to get my hands on one of these babies. This is pretty much all the inspiration I need for spring. Minimalism, eat your heart out.
What was you favorite show, or look?
With all my heart,

Outfit of the day #13. My first tights.

I hadn't really jumped on the tights band wagon yet.Yesterday I was at Wal Mart ogling the tights, and I finally gave in. They were five dollars. I accidentally bought brown, but I'm glad I did now. Next time we go back I am going to get black, and maybe a gray pair too. They are a lot warmer than I thought they would be, and the only thing I don't like is the band. The band kind of rolls in a tiny bit, and creates a line. I'm not sure if it has something to do with cheap tights, that they are control top, or if I need to go up another size. I went up a size like everyone suggests. I snipped the sides of the band, and it helped a little. If anyone has tights tips, I would love to hear them.

I really like this outfit. I have always loved this skirt, it has a lacy floral print on it. It's also really comfy. The sweater has puffed sleeves, and shoulders. It's the one I thrifted the other day. I promise I don't have a ton of hair product in, my hair is just wet. Probably not the smartest idea when it's cold out, and there is six inches of snow on the ground.
Outfit Details: Sweater- Express. Thrifted. Tank- Old Navy. Thrifted. Skirt- Valia. Boots- Icings. Gift. Tights- Wal Mart. Necklace- Qvc. Gift.

With, all my heart,

P.S.
Aren't you jealous of what I ate for dinner last night? Chicken stuffed with mushrooms, spinach, parmesan, asaigo, and ramono. The chicken is on top a bed of mushroom risotto. My boyfriend is the best cook ever.

Outfit of the day #12. Chocolate Pearls.

I'm back in pants again. These pants are not cords, but not velvet. They are this weird hybrid, and super comfortable. I feel like after my color explosion yesterday I digressed. But, I really wanted to wear this necklace. It's real chocolate pearls, and my mom gave it to me for Christmas this year. It makes me happy, and that's all that matters. My grandma gave me the black turtleneck. So you could say my mom, and grandma picked out my outfit. They are cool like that.
Outfit Details: Turtleneck- George. Wal Mart. Gift. Pants- Glo. Boots- Airwalk. Payless. Necklace- QVC. Gift. Bag- No brand. Thrifted.

Outfit of the day #11. Color Brigade, and Everybody, Everywear.

It is way too cold outside for me to be even be reaching for skirts. We still have around 4 inches of snow in the yard, and it's a balmy 30 degrees. That's warm for Cleveland. It was in the single digits yesterday. A lot of the pictures came out with a "Brr I'm so cold I want to go back inside" face. But, I really wanted a picture for The Color Brigade, because Cute and Little is awesome. I ended up really liking my colorful outfit. I'm wearing purple, wine, red, and yellow. That's a lot of color for me. I also wanted to participate in Everybody, Everywear. See, I can multitask sometimes.

Man that dead plant is working it in this picture.
Outfit Details: Cardigan- Old Navy. Thrifted. Striped Tee- Old Navy. Skirt- NY&Co. Hand me down. Yellow Flats- L&C. Earrings- Gift. Bag- No brand. Thrifted.

Thrifty Finds. What I've bought lately.

I've decided from now on my Thrifty Tuesdays will now be called Thrifty Finds. It will only be my thrift shopping finds, and I'm not going to restrict myself to Tuesdays. It's been almost two months since I've been clothes shopping, or even thrift shopping. See I even have proof of the last time I went. I'm kind of proud of myself. I usually go at least every two weeks. I'm glad my boyfriend, and I went we found some great stuff. He ended up getting a pair of walkie talkies from the 60's, and a few clothing items. I ended up getting some pretty awesome clothes, and a purse.

 Style & Co., $4.99.
A little expensive for the thrift store, but it fits perfect.
 NFL, $4.12. (25% off)
It's really fitted, and perfect for game days.
 AB Studio, $2.99.
 Sonoma, $2.50. (50% off)
Lavender Label by Vera Wang, $3.50. (50% off)
This swing coat is probably one my best finds at a thrift store, it looks like it's never been worn.
 Express, $1.50. (50% off)
Purse (no brand), $4.99.

Total: $24.59
I also used a $10 off when you spend $25 coupon so it saved us a little more on everything we got.

While I was there I saw a Diane Von Furstenberg shirt, it kind of looked like a camp shirt. It was too big for me but now I'm thinking I should have bought it, it was so nice. I should have bought it, and gave it to my Mom. Normally the classiest things they would get were Ann Taylor. I don't where all this designer stuff is coming from lately at the thrift store, but I'm loving it.

With all my heart,
<3 Vanessa
